Website Privacy Notice
Who we are
Sequenza Limited is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17462354. Our registered office is 76 Manchester Co-Working Colony, 76 King Street, Manchester, England, M2 4NH. For privacy questions or requests, email luke@sequenza.ai.
This notice covers this public website and initial enquiries. A client engagement may involve additional information and separate contractual privacy terms.
What we receive
- Website visits: our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, request time and pages requested to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
- Enquiries: if you email us, we receive your email address, your name and organisation if provided, your message, and any subsequent correspondence. Please do not include sensitive personal records in an initial enquiry.
The fields on our contact page currently prepare an email in your own email application. They do not send the information to Sequenza until you review and send that email.
Providing information is optional. We need a reply address to answer you, but you do not need to provide more information than is necessary to explain your enquiry.
Why we use it
- To operate, protect and troubleshoot the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure and functional website.
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request, or taking steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, where applicable.
- To meet a legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
- To establish, exercise or defend a legal claim where necessary. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our legal rights.
Sending an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list. We would request a separate, optional opt-in before sending you follow-up marketing; you could withdraw it at any time. We do not make decisions about you solely by automated means based on website visits or enquiries.
Who handles it
Hostinger hosts the website and processes technical access data. Microsoft 365 processes the email you choose to send us. Authorised Sequenza personnel may read and respond to an enquiry. We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary, but we do not sell enquiry details.
Hostinger and Microsoft operate international infrastructure and support services, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their published data-processing terms include standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions where applicable. You can ask us for details of the safeguards relevant to your information. See Hostinger's data-processing terms and Microsoft's data-protection terms for their arrangements.
How long we keep it
We keep initial enquiries while responding, considering a possible engagement and completing follow-up you requested. Once that purpose ends, we assess whether limited information is still needed for a legal obligation, dispute or security issue; otherwise we delete or anonymise it. Our intended limit for non-client enquiry correspondence is 12 months after the last substantive contact. If an engagement begins, its records are governed by the relevant client arrangements.
Technical access logs are held for the hosting service's operational and security purposes; we do not export or retain copies beyond what is needed to investigate a specific issue.
Cookies
This website does not currently use advertising or optional analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and provide any required choices before using them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or ask for a portable copy. You can contact us at luke@sequenza.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time and object to use of your information for direct marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.
You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Changes
We will update this page if our website, suppliers or information practices change. The date above shows when this version took effect.
